Abbington of Pickerington

My mom lived there for 3.5 years until she passed away in November, 2016. Neither of us ever had a complaint. I cannot begin to express how greatful I was that my 97 year-old mom had the wonderful care and caring of the entire staff. I never worried about her when I went on trips. The food was very good. Every member of the staff was kind and loved mom. Mom loved bingo and bean bag toss and other activities planned by Brenda, the activities director. She is supurb at planning trips and numerous activities. The nursing staff is so attentive and caring. The housekeeping staff does a great job and loves the residents. Jennifer, the director, is the kindest most loving person. She cares deeply for the staff and residents. She stayed with me all night and into morning not leaving my side until after mom passed away. I will never forget her compassion. I loved all the aides and could never have asked for any better care from each and every one. Mom and I visited all area assisted living facilities and she chose Abbington because of its one floor plan, its size, and coziness. It reminded us of a country bed and breakfast because of the layout with porches on all ends and colors. We certainly made the best choice.
