Akron Highland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I went it today for the extraction of four of my wisdom teeth. Prior to today, I felt slightly apprehensive after reading some poor reviews about the place, but now I stand with my own opinion and confusion over some of the ratings and negative opinions of others. All the staff including the receptionist, nurses, and surgeon were entirely friendly and professional. I remember nothing much of the actual procedure as I received IV sedation, but my ride informed me it only took 15 minutes to get all four out which was quite the pleasant surprise for me! I figured it would be closer to an hour. Perhaps prior staff was a problem for others and have since been replaced or had an attitude adjustment, but either way I was completely satisfied with my experience and feel nothing but silly for having anxiety before. I am feeling very minimal pain and hardly any swelling. I recommend this place to anyone! It may not be the most modern or fancy looking office, if you will, but I think the quality of the experience trumps that. If negative reviews are turning you away don’t worry! I think some people are perhaps a bit dramatic and like to make hobbies out of complaining.

Fantastic experience, if there is such at an oral surgeon. The entire staff is very upbeat, positive and caring. Dr. Bartholomew made sure I was comfortable with his plan and executed it perfectly. Thank you all very much!
