I have lived in Walden Farms (Aurora, OH) for nearly 10 years. Several neighbors have built their homes using Artistic Design Homes (Marc Horne). I have seen his work and it is magnificent. He pays attention to detail. His workmanship is outstanding. Rarely do you find a builder that puts as much passion into his work as he does. If I were building a new home, he would be my choice. I have toured three homes that he has built in our development and they are all just perfect, perfect, perfect!
If you are picky and expect the best, then look no further. The paint will be perfect. The woodwork will be flawless. Your house will be well-insulated. No corners will be cut. Everything will be straight and level. And, even if there is something down the road that you are unhappy with, he will come back to fix it immediately.
A friend of ours built their home in the Lakes of Aurora and they said "it was the best decision they had ever made in their entire lives." Previous to that, they lived in a 6000+ SF home in the old part of Walden. They wanted to downsize and the wife wanted a kitchen "with the works." I have never seen a kitchen like this. It is awesome!! The custom-designed features that she requested to be put in turned out magnificently. They love their new home and only wish they would have built new sooner.

They are in their 70's and have had three new homes built for them in the past in other cities that they had lived. They said their home in Aurora is, by far, the best home that any builder has ever built for them.
Before this home was built, I looked at a beautiful serene empty lot with weeping willows. It was gorgeous scenery that you just can't find anymore. When I found out that the lot had been sold, I dreaded the thought of having a neighbor and a house to look at for the rest of my life. But, after the home was built, I must admit, it is a better view than what we had before. The architecture and design of this home is just amazing. I love looking at it. And what is even better is that the neighbors are the nicest people we have ever met.
Housing reports say that new housing construction is down, but this guy has got a waiting list. BTW, I am not being paid to put this review online, but when I see someone good at what they do, I feel it is my duty to inform the public so that they can make an educated decision and choose the right builder. I do not think that you will be disappointed if you choose Artistic Design Homes by Marc Horne to build your dream home. He is that good.
