Hotel Lakeside

We come here every summer. It's like a bit of heaven on earth!

USED BAR OF SOAP STUCK IN THE SHOWER WITH NO OFFER TO REMOVE IT!!! The room we stayed in had hair in the sink and a used bar of soap stuck im the bathroom on the handicap chair in the shower. When we approached the front desk, the desk clerk had an attitude, assuming we wanted to switch rooms. She also assumed we were staying at the Fountain Inn because we came in through the front door. She offered us nothing about removing the gross bar of soap and blamed the new housekeepers. I was a housekeeper and know there are certain things to check and clean. However, The coordination to get our hotel room was amazing. They even let us get a late checkout for my wedding the next day and accommodated us on the 1st floor for easy access. But the hotel staff and cleanliness are important at any establishment. Just opening for a season and new staff are no excuse for poor cleanliness and a bad attitude.
