Had a great time in our pre-celebration of a 50th anniversary and an 80th bday. Liked the liveliness of Jackie Blu's without the excessive noise found in some newer places. It was a nice blend for both young and not so young. Also a great family plsce. Lots and lots of menu and price choices.
I finally found a blooming onion that wasn't too spicy to eat with a sauce for those who like it spicy.
We ordered a couple lasagna's, a quasadia and pecan crusted talapia. All were delicious. Salads that came with the lasagna were crisp. I was especially happy about the large carafe of hot water and a choice number of teas. That was a first.
We especially thanks them for the complimentary turtle cheesecake for the 50th! Now that's hometown customer service. PS it's a busy place on Fridays!
