Spring Valley Shooting Range

The range is well maintained, has good facilities, and the other shooters there are mostly polite and well disciplined. The "range masters" however, are a major detractor to the facility. Not due to presence or governance of official range rules, but rather simply their attitudes.

Great facility for rifles! Both 50yd and 100yd ranges available with plenty of lanes. Handgun however only has 4 lanes and are always busy! And god forbid you shoot twice in 5 seconds they will yell at you for rapid fire. If you ask me they should spend more time monitoring people touching their guns during a cease fire than how fast you are shooting. I have had many cases with new shooters crossing the yellow line and people not acknowledging "all clear" when retrieving their targets, or resume firing. Way more important than rate of fire.
