Steak 'n Shake

My mom and I ordered from the drive through and were almost home when we realized both our drinks (root beer) were almost completely out of syrup. We turned around and went back and i went inside. I assumed the woman who helped me was a manager because she wasn't in the uniform. I asked to change one drink to a sweet tea and upgrade the other drink to a chocolate milkshake. She charged me full price for a milkshake and brought me a sweet tea as requested. I was alright paying the upgrade price but was unhappy relinquishing my drink just to pay full price for a milkshake. On top of that, the extra pickles on my mom's burger looked to be pickle skins and were hard to bite into. And neither transaction came with a receipt. TL;DR: Drinks tasted like carbonated water, I paid full price to upgrade to a milkshake because I didn't trust their soda, and pickle skins are gross.

Well, I was disappointed that they did not provide ketchup with my order, particularly since there fries are mediocre and only even tasty with ketchup, every order should come with ketchup steak and shake!!! Also, your shakes, though delicious, are too thick and difficult to drink thru a straw, which is really annoying. Burgers great, but much better if I could've added ketchup! Come on people, don't be stingy on the ketchup. Every time I drive through I feel like I'm deprived of ketchup, I might be a more frequent visitor if this problem was resolved. Thanks.

We had the best server. Her name was Emilie. She was able to make us comfortable, very friendly was able to put up with my husband. The food was also very good and avoidable.
