Professional and kind. Be prepared to pay two or three times as much as a regular veterinary clinic. But, when an emergency happens, they're there.
My dog was limping really bad. It just got worse as time went by. I thought it might be more then just a sprained paw. We couldn't rule out lime disease so we started treatment for it. I went into the clinic knowing it was going to cost a lot of money. I was still surprised at how much it did cost. But the doctor worked with me telling me my options and the cost, and we settled on a plan. For the tests and pills it still ended up costing over $400, but that's what you get for going to an emergency clinic.
I read all the heart breaking, one star reviews. I have no doubt that the workers at the clinic care for the animals, but you must remember this is a clinic of last resort. EVERY case is an heartbreaking emergency. So everyone would expect a break on the price. You can't do that and stay in business.
Bottom line, don't go to this clinic unless it's a real emergency. And I'm sorry to say it, you'll need to have the money to pay the undoubtably high bill.
As for my dog, he's doing great. I spent a lot of money, but I got peace of mind and my dog was a lot better within days. I'm grateful they were there and open, when nobody else was. It was money well spent.
